Cambodia will vigorously develop the rubber industry
the Deputy Prime Minister of Cambodia recently said that in order to ensure the international competitiveness of the Cambodian rubber industry, the Cambodian government will formulate new development policies and effective measures to solve the current problems faced by the Cambodian rubber industry, improve the quality of Cambodian rubber and promote the development of the rubber industry. According to the statistics of the Cambodian Ministry of Commerce, from January to September this year, Cambodian rubber exports reached 35000 tons, with a year-on-year increase of 67%, and the total export value reached US $160million. The rubber industry in Cambodia has a history of 100 years. At present, the planting area has reached 200000 hectares, and the rubber cutting area accounts for only 20%, with an annual output of 42000 tons of rubber. It is estimated that in 2020, the rubber planting area will reach 300000 hectares, the rubber cutting area will be 235000 hectares, and the annual output will be 290000 tons. Some experts believe that once the problems of poor rubber quality, backward rubber cutting technology and equipment, lack of professionals, and lack of financial support for rubber growers are solved, the measurement and control system of some electronic tensile testing machines in the current market adopts an 8-bit single-chip microcomputer to control, and the use of fertilizer and the harvesting of rubber have not reached the international standard, its absorption capacity can be comparable to the materials used in gas masks, Cambodia's rubber industry will have better development space
